- On Saturday 5 August 2017, NES ePortfolio access was removed for all HEE users (including former foundation doctors in England). This is a planned part of the HEE transition to the Horus ePortfolio. All the information collected in the NES ePortfolio will be available in the HEE Foundation Programme E-portfolio Archive shortly.
• We understand that users need access to their historic data and are working hard to release the Archive to all within the next week or so.
• Any foundation doctor who urgently needs access to sign off documents / proof of completion of foundation training should contact their foundation school in the first instance.
• It is not possible for anyone to regain access to this information in the NES ePortfolio but the information has not been lost. It will be available in the Archive by early September 2017.
• A small number of users have retained access to the NES ePortfolio (some foundation doctors who are finishing off their foundation training grade less than full time or otherwise out of synchronisation with the standard training year; their supervisors and associated administrators). For this very small cohort of users all information remains accessible through the NES ePortfolio.

- We appreciate that it is frustrating for our users that not all of the features that you will need to manage the foundation training year are fully functional.
The work to transition the HEE foundation e-portfolio from the previous provider to the Horus platform has been complex and we have had to manage a number of competing priorities in our work towards finalising this transition. We of course would have liked to make available all of the features of the system for the start of the training year, but unfortunately this has not been possible due to the volume and complexity of the work. In anticipation of this, we considered carefully the functionality that is vital to begin the training year against the functionality that is required near to the start and later on. Details of our development priority list can be viewed here.
